 One of the functions of the Utah Wilderness Coalition (UWC) is to serve a grassroots-organizing role when activities transcend the work of an individual member organization.
As a volunteer-activist driven mechanism, the UWC provides grassroots-organizing opportunities for both its over 200 environmental member groups and its more than 10,000 individual volunteer-activists.
The UWC is the vehicle for groups and individuals to speak out and organize each other regarding the management of America’s public lands.
